crafty types--where do you buy fabric?

the only joann's around here is half an hour away...wal-mart doesn't carry any...there is one independent store i've been to before but they didn't have the kinds of funky stuff i was looking for.

any good online sources?

I get my fabrics online (I also use higher quality fabrics for quilting) from keepsakequilting.com and fatquartershop.com.

I have purchased from Fabric.com, Sewmamasew, and I get cloth diaper fabric from Very baby.

I actually find the best prices and selection on Etsy. ?Just do searches under "supplies" ?There are shops on there that just sell fabric yardage, fat quarters, etc...?
