Hi! A friend of mine is celebrating her birthday by inviting us to go tubing down the Brandywine River. It is a Class I waterway which apparently means that the water is "calm, slow, and meandering" with light rapids. It sounds pretty calm to me. However, I am 21 weeks pregnant. Does anyone know...can I go tubing? I tried to call the Dr office, but of course I keep missing them. A friend of mine is saying no to any "sitting in water for long periods of time"...she was told that 10 years ago. Any thoughts??? Thanks
I used to live really close to the Brandywine Rievr growing up and have tubed and canoed on it several times. It is REALLY gentle. I would say it's just a step up from sitting in a tube in a pool or lake.
I go swimming every weekend so I think being in water for an hour or two is fine!
