i remember you saying you loved the babyhawk. once you get the hang of it, how is it for a wriggley baby? can you get her in/out fairly easily?
i still love our maya sling, but DD is all about kicking her legs now. it's hard to get her in there and positioned well when she's in full wriggle.

I LOVE my pikkolo! It's a mei tai style one, but has buckles instead of straps that you tie (buckles are super-easy to get on quick). I looked at babyhawk, ergo & beco, but pikkolo won out because it's the only one that can carry baby forward facing in front (and that's what C likes) and has buckles. She loves it. DH has a hard time putting it on by himself, but I have no problems (except back carry, I haven't mastered that one yet).

I adore my pikkolo, too! But, even better, is the store Peppermint in Plano where you can go and try on all sorts of different model baby carriers. The staff is VERY knowledgeable and is very friendly!!!
thanks everyone!
i *do* think peppermint (the store) closed yesterday. i was in there earlier in the week, and the staff told me friday would be their last day. the website will be staying up + running, but with different owners. however, a friend told me that she'd gotten an email saying that the store might be staying open on saturdays only from 12-4. i meant to call and check today, but forgot until after 4 had come and gone.
