Breastfeeding my DS failed due to my flat nips but I'd really like to successfully breastfeed DC#2. I only recently learned about breast shields (not nipple shields) to help with flat or inverted nipples. Anyone have experience? Was it successful? When should I look into getting and using one? TIA!
I used them and they do help. I was told (after LO was born) that I should have started a few weeks before birth but I wasn't aware they would be a problem.
I also used a Latch Assist (made by Lansinoh), which also helps.

I think you mean breast shells?
