We just had a blow out!

DD just had her first blow out in CD's. It was in a fuzzi bunz. The less blow outs with CD are the main reason DH agreed to try them so I wont be telling him. LOL! Do you think it was to big or small  or tight or loose.  This is only our 3rd day with them so personal error is very possible.

    SO hard to say - where'd it escape?  Was that area tight enough? 

    we've been lucky - never had one.  It helps that DS is a constant pooper, so it's not like there's a lot in him at any given point.  :)  Aren't you glad I shared?

    Right now it's probably user error.  It was for us in the beginning, usually that I didn't have the diaper close enough/tight enough around the legs without cutting off circulation.  When you put the diaper on, bends your DD's legs back towards her chest, if you see a lot of gapping it's not on well enough and a blowout could occur.  As she fills out if she's on the thin side the gapping will eventually get down to no gapping.

    I might have to attribute that one to user error (not having it tight enough around the waist) - but we can also blame your DD's forceful poo, ha!

    No. just the front and back. It was a lot of poo. covered most of the inside.
    its BM poop still. DD only goes once maybe twice a day so its a lot normally.

    I'm guessing that the fit needs to be tweaked some.  I also know that pockets did not work for us at all.

    She had red marks around her back from the dipe. She does have forceful poo!!! lol
