My IL's want to buy DD something for her bday (they don't have a lot of $) and they were thinking of a play kitchen. We prefer stuff made in USA. Anyone have this one? https://www.littletikes.com/toys/prep-serve-kitchen.aspx or this one https://www.littletikes.com/toys/cook-clean-kitchen.aspx
Or can you recommend yours?
What features should I look for in a play kitchen? TIA!
Re: Pls recommend your play kitchen...
we have a step2 kitchen and dd loves it. i was debating for awhile between getting a wooden one or the step2 one w/sounds and decided on the latter because sounds just make it 10x more fun and they can still use their imagination. dd loves putting the 2 pots on the stove and hearing the sounds. she already pretends to cook and feeds her stuffed dolls.
they have a lot of different ones but this one is $99:

I would look for one with storage. We have a pretty big play kitchen and I like that all the dishes and play food can be put away in the kitchen, not stored elsewhere.
We have the Step2 Deluxe kitchen. I didn't put all the stickers on it so it's not quite as obnoxious in my livingroom. I wanted a wooden one first but they were just too expensive for the larger ones.
