BG OS - use without stuffing it?

Can you use the BG OS without inserts? I know the AIOs you can, but wasn't sure about the OS...

The BG OS pocket needs inserts.

The BG OS organic AIO has them sewn in.

The AIO = all in one which means no stuff but the BG OS have pockets. if you didn't put SOMETHING in there, it would just be your DD peeing against PUL and a thin fabric pocket. It wouldn't work.

I know some people who use them as a cover and lay in a tri-folded prefold, but otherwise no - they need something to absorb the pee.

only as a swim diaper. Need to stuff some absorbency into it for it to function.
