When did/are you having your shower?

in 2nd Trimester

I know this has been asked a million times before, but I never paid attention til now. My mom and sister are going to plan mine, but we dont want to do it too early.  What is the earliest "acceptable" shower time IYO?

    I'm due December 23rd, my shower is going to be in mid October. IDK if that's early or not, but my family wanted to get it in before the holidays.?

    MI shower is Oct. 24 and IL shower is Nov. 1 - I am due New Years Day.

    My mom is throwing me one Oct. 24th.  Sister in law is throwing me one as well but I don't have the date yet.

    I had my first one this past saturday at 25 weeks 5days, due to traveling and not being able to make it back there until Keegan is born. My next one is right at 31 weeks. Hope that helps!

    I will be shooting for early November, I will be between 28 and 30 weeks. I think I would consider going as early as 25 weeks but that would be too close to my SIL's shower in October.

    Mine is not until Nov. 5th. I will be 35 weeks then. It's a bit late, but my friends are too busy in October.

    i don't really think you can do it too early. i didnt get to go to my shower b/c i was in labor. so i say earlier is better, especially since you aren't huge and can enjoy yourself. :) sometime after you know the sex preferably ( if you are going to find out)

    I'm due January 8th and my mom said my shower will be in late-October or early-November to avoid the holiday time.  Yes

    THanks!  Yes, I was wondering how many weeks along you would be when having it, so that helps a lot. I bet we will have it in October sometime too, when I am about 7mos along, but I am just so excited  can hardly wait!

    I will be about 27 1/2 weeks for my shower.  I told my sister that with twins, I wanted to have it early just in case of bed rest or any of the other fun things that come with twins.  I actually wanted it earlier but my brother is getting married 2 weeks before so my sis had to wait until after their honeymoon to have the shower.

    Mine will be at 35 weeks. I would have liked it to be a bit sooner, but thats just the date that worked out best.

    2nd Shower...ummm...sometime in the beginning of October, having a brain freeze

    Mine are August 18th and 23rd while I am home visiting. I am due November 23rd so I will be 26 and 27 weeks. I say anytime after you know the sex is a-okay.....

    I'm having 2 showers - the first (very small, mostlye family) will be out of town at 30 weeks...I didn't want to travel much past that.  The second is at my house with all my friends at 31 weeks.

    I am due Jan 15. Mine will be Nov 7 or 21. But we wanted when I was at least 7 mos and before holidays.

    I am due december 29th, but my mom is planning my shower for late october/early november to avoid the holiday crazies as much as possible.
    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    I'm having one in my hometown at 27 weeks as that's the only time I can go there this fall. I have no idea when the one here will be- probably early Nov before the holidays.

    I am due Jan 29 and one of mine will be October 11 ( I have season tickets to the Chargers and there is a bye week!) I know I know but im a huge fan :-)

    For a late Dec birth I would try and do a shower before the hoildays. Late Oct to Mid Nov.
