I remember with my son, years ago, that he was a very busy little guy in the womb, always nosy and wanted to be apart of whatever I was doing or at least try as often as possible to get Momma's attention. That same movement is in his personality today. My son is every bit the actor and comedian, anything he can do to be noticed and make others laugh.
My question is when will I feel this baby move? Yes all pregnancies are different, personalities of children are different. I'm at the end of my 16th week and even in my ultrasounds this baby doesn't move at all. I don't want to say I'm worried about it but I will admit to having a concern. I find it odd to think each ultrasound is done when the baby could be "sleeping".
After I eat I feel a "rumbling" feeling, sometimes low in my belly and sometimes right at my sternum. Other than that rumbling feeling I have not felt a definitive movement that would yield the bursting new momma smile and a "The baby moved!" comment.
My next appointment is Aug 10th and though my doc has not seemed concerned about any of the ultrasounds the techs have done, I want to ask her if she could step in with me for my next ultrasound and view the baby with me. If there is something to be questioned right now, I want to know as soon as possible.
When did any of you second time+ mommies feel your little ones move? Did you notice a huge distinction between your first and second pregnancies by movement of the baby? What questions should I bring up to my doctor, if any, about the lack of movement at the next appointment?
Re: 2nd pregnancy, When will I feel the baby move?
I'm about as far along as you, and I'm still waiting.
I remember with DD, it wasn't till 18/20 weeks before I felt her consistently. I imagine it will be the same this time.
