donut hunt

so i left the house at 10pm on a mission to find a buttermilk donut...my husband stayed home with our daughter while i went to our local shop. it was closed. went to another shop. closed. oh the frustration! i was in tears...all i wanted was a donut! then hubby calls to see if i'm ok and i told him the place was closed and to please look online for a 24 hour donut shop...finally found a yum-yum donut spot...no buttermilk, BUT i did enjoy a maple bar and plain old fashioned and a cup of decaf coffee... i think that's the most insane i have gotten over a craving! lol...i finally made it home at 11pm...maybe next time the urge will strike me a little earlier during the day!

I wouldn't know where to find a buttermilk doughnut even if I tried. I do have a craving, but I'm not driving to where this craving is... Back when I was seeing a cardiologyst, his office was way out far from my old house. If I decided to drive there right now from my current house, it might take me a good 45-55 minutes. Whats this craving? It's a craving for their bagel that they make: cheddar jalepeno. Even better: they have matching jalepeno cream cheese to go with it. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!

Booooo! I REALLY want a donut now!

Glad you found yours though (: I was craving Tortilla Soup from Max & Erma's and much to my dismay they don't have those anywhere near where we live now... I searched and searched online to try and find a good recipe that could make my tummy happy and I tried a few but couldn't get it right.

I wish I lived in an area that wasn't oversaturated with crappy Dunkin' Donuts doughnuts!! Where I used to live in Ohio, we have three different independent places to choose from, all were soooooooo good.
