I don't know if it was the fresh salmon I ate tonight DH caught last week in Alaska (yum) or what but LO is freaking out in there tonight. LOL I love it. I cant wait till DH gets to feel it.

AND a question lol DH is telling me im wrong that you can go through 600 diapers in 3 months. It makes like 7 diapers a day and he thinks thats way to many!! lol poor DH he is going to be in shock!!! Help me out ladies! hehe

Haha...I've heard that with a NB you can even have 12 diapers a day!

Yeah with a newborn you can have LOTS of poopy diapers at first...so you'll need to change a lot. I think it tapers off a bit though....but you can still go through a lot of them either way. I plan on doing A LOT of laundry with the cloth diapers we plan on using.

Yes, for sure 7/day is a good avg for the first few months. In the early stages I agree with 12/day on avg. Lots and lots of diapers. Like pp, I'm all set with my cloth diapers. I can't imagine buying that many diapers just to let them sit in the landfill for about 10 generations.

We're doing cloth diapers too but another CD'er suggested we use disposables for the first few weeks. Mainly because we'll be adjusting to the new baby but also because cloth diapers (at least the one-size versions) don't always fit newborns so well. Not sure what we'll do yet...
