Sister: Anyone else?

Anyone else have this problem?  My older sister has this thing in her head that she should do things first.  Example: I got engaged, she got mad because she hadn't yet; I choose to get married first (instead of waiting for her to) she gets mad; I have a baby, she wants one too; and lastly, we get a house, and she can't be happy.  No, she has to go on this b!tchy tirade of things such as if we can afford it...blah blah blah blah.  It's really getting old.  I came very close to telling her to STFU.

OMG!  I could have written this post. 

My sister has always thought she was prettier than me and so she also naturally thought she'd be engaged, married and mommied before me.  But that's not the case.  She doesn't even have a BF.

She STILL has not called me to congratulate me on having a baby!  Not even a FB message... NOTHING.  She pretends I don't exist.  Her jealousy is disgusting!

How old is the age difference?

Honestly, I do think it's somewhat immature and that she'll get over it eventually.

But, I'm an older sister. My sister is 4 years younger than me. If she had gotten married before me, had a house and a baby before me, yeah, I'd probably be a little upset. Not that I'd be mad at my sister for being happy, but because you spend your whole life experiencing things first - your the first child, the first one to go to school, first to drive a car, go to college, etc. You kind of just believe that you'll be the first to get married and have a baby and when that doesn't happen it might mess with her "perception" of how life is supposed to happen.

Now, as a I say this, I did get married and have a baby first, so I'm not speaking from experience.
