  • Our house was built in 1920 but, completely redone.  Our room has a doorway in it leading to the nursery.  It's perfect for a nursery.

We'll move Emerson one bedroom over and decorate it as her new room and keep the nursery as is.  We may need to paint and get new bedding but, nothing drastic.

  • Technically - they'll share a room.  We'll add a crib for #2 to DD's room and that will be their room.  Our 3rd bedroom is downstairs and I don't feel comfortable having DD, or a baby, that far away.

That being said ... we're co-sleepers.  So I guess there's a liklihood that our room will be the "shared" room as well.

  • I haven't decided if we're going to get a toddler bed or go straight to a twin bed.  I had no plans to even consider moving him until he's 2.5, so we have some time to figure it out.
  • I wanted to start each child out in his/her own room, but DH wanted to do the nursery thing and move them to their big kid room later. I gave on that point since I think i made like every other decision about our son and thought I should let him decide something!
  • we are moving everyone around.

ds8 will move into our current guest room. we will covert that into his big big boy room.

dd will move out of her pink princess butterfly room and into ds8 room. its the biggest besides our master.

dd and baby ds will share the room.

dds room will become the guest room.
