Parenting after a Loss

learning new skills

you know how often times baby's sleep is disrupted when they're learning a new skill?  well, most babies do this with big stuff like learning to roll over, crawl, stand and walk.  my kid does it when she's learning how to blow raspberries.  super.

  • Don't worry! Mine too :) He started doing it a few weeks ago and would wake up in the middle of the night to do it!

  • LOL!!  That is too cute!  DD just learned and now she does it all the time if we aren't "looking" in her direction...her way of getting our attention.  My parents keep saying I am going to regret teaching her how to blow raspberries....especially when she starts eating solids!
  • Blowing raspberries is very exciting!!

  • the really sad part is that she's not good at it.  this leads me to believe there will be more sleepless nights ahead.
  • E started out by just spitting everywhere and making the "bu" sound. But now he's a pro... it does take practice (and many restless nights)...
