My friend just brought her 12 mth old to get his shots.  The dr called my friend back to give her results for one of the tests and found that her baby had been given all 6 shots for a 2yr old bc the nurse looked at the wrong chart. 

Screw ups with shots has been linked to autism and can wait to show signs til years later, so I highly recommend to double check the shots that are being put into your child before they are administered.  All my friend can do now is pray that nothing happens.  Stupid morons.

thats a really good idea!  i dont know if this happened bc it was a military hospital, but they should definitely instate something like that.

This is why my doctor has me sign a release form each time they give DD shots, it's the same form every time with all the shots laid out in chronological order--it helps everyone to see what she's had and which ones she's getting.

 

I'd be filing a letter of complaint with the local medical board if I were your friend.

I disagree with this statement, but I'm sorry to hear about your friend. Our pediatrician's office always has us initial the shots they're giving in the chart.
