Tonight, I made her a PUL lined lunch bag with matching minkee-backed napkins. She starts the new school year tomorrow morning, and will be attending from 8am to 3pm. Thus, she'll be taking her lunch. I've already talked to her teacher (who happens to be a good friend of mine), and explained that Joanie will probably be bringing cloth napkins and "real" utensils. Her teacher was more than happy to make sure they make it home with her each day.
Anyway, without further adieu, here are the pics. For clarification, the bag ties closed with a combination of snaps and an attached grosgrain ribbon.
Re: PIPs of Joanie's back-to-school present inside.
I was just thinking the same thing.
"Hmph. *I* want one of these."
lol
That is soooo cute! I want one too.
That's SO cute! I made #1 a Cars lunch bag for his first year of pre-school last year. And yes, we do cloth napkins, real utensils, all reusable items. I think in the past full year (he goes in the summer too), we've only lost one spoon, and that's because he threw it out being a smart alec, lol!
Good luck to Joanie on her first day!!
