Parenting after a Loss

Had a gallbladder attack today.

I haven't had one since I was like 30 weeks pg... It was different and worse than the ones i had when pg too..It came on almost instantly after eating and then the pain started radiating into my shoulder and my whole abdomen felt so tight like I couldnt even talk. It was horrible. The worst part was, it started just before I drove home from work and I got about half way home and had to pull into Target and call my DH to come get me because I did not think I could drive home the rest of the way myself. I also threw up A LOT once I got to Target.. I really thought we were going to end up at the hospital, but the pain subsided almost right after DH picked me up. I had him bring me a Lortab too.. and i took that when he got there.. I don't know if it was the gallbladder or the lortab but then I threw up 2 more times tonight..

Ugh.. I really hope I can get it back in line just by eating better again!

  • Oh no! I hope you feel better soon.

  • it sounds like you have stones like I did.  Seriously get that sucker removed!  You'll be so happy you did!

When I would have my attacks, I would sort of lay on my side/stomach on the bed and put some pressure on my abdomen and  try to get the stone to pass

  • I'm so sorry! I hope you feel better :(

  • Girl get that sucker out!

I had mine out when the babies were 3 weeks old and I am so glad it is gone.  Let me know if you have any questions about the surgery.

  • ugh that sounds awful. hope you feel better.
  • OMG...I just had an attack 3 weeks ago and I went to the ER because I thought I was having a heart attack...it is SO PAINFUL!!  I have a consultation with a surgeon and hopefully will have mine removed (I had an u/s that showed lots of gall stones) in the coming weeks.
