Doesn't like cereal?

I gave dd cereal for the first time tonight and she did not like it. She spit all but one spoonful out and made horrible faces. Did anyone else's kid learn to like it? Or should I try something else? This was rice cereal.

It might take several tries before she takes to it. That being said, I tried over and over and Abigail hates it. She never liked it. We tried oatmeal instead and she did a little better but still won't eat much of it.

Give it time - just keep trying. ?It took DS several days to start liking rice cereal. ?Even then, he wasn't super into it. ?He likes oatmeal and purees much better. ?If your pedi has ok'd other foods, you should try them. ?We had to do rice for a few weeks because pedi said nothing except rice until 6 months.

What did you make it with? I didn't want to pump so I mixed it with what little bm I had and water...she was not digging it. You can also play with the consistancy. Give it a few more tries, she might change her mind.
