I'm sure this might not be what a lot of you want to hear, but I just can't help but want to cry every time I hear of someone losing their baby. I'm in my 15 weeks, and everything is fine so far, but I'm still scared. My husband has a coworker who has been trying for almost a year and a half, and last week they found out they were pregnant, but then the other day she lost the baby, and I cried for forever. I've never even met this woman, but it kills me every time. So I just wanted to say that if any of you just need someone to try and make them feel better, I'll be more than willing.
Re: I'm so sorry for all of you...
i tend to agree with this. hope you have a H&H 9 months.
I very much appreciate your sentiments. I know that when you are pregnant hearing about someone else's loss can be particularly scary since it hits sort of close to home. I wish you nothing but a H&H9 but I also understand the ladies who feel offended, for the lack of a better word, by this random outpouring of sympathy. No one likes to feel like they are pitiable, although I know your post came with good intentions.
Anyway, enjoy your pregnancy and don't stress about the possibility of a loss. At the end of the day, no one can control what will happen to them, but statistically, chances are much better you are going to be just fine once you pass the first trimester.
i tend to agree with this as well.
That's nice, I guess? This just doesn't help me.
love it!
Thank you... that's really sweet. I'm a firm believer that you don't have to go through all the same experiences as someone to give them support. Otherwise, none of us could ever encourage anyone. We all have different life experiences. A lot of us happen to be sharing this m/c experience, but our lives are all very different and we still manage to be there for one another.
Thank you TCTF for your kindness. I hope everything goes well with your pregnancy... don't be too nervous, just enjoy being pregnant. (there's nothing like getting away with eating a pint of ice cream all by yourself... two nights in a row)
