It's like "the bachelor," but with people who weigh over 180 pounds.
But it's produced by the same people who created the trainwreck that was "the littlest groom," about a little person trying to find a wife, and i'm *fascinated* by tv shows that supposedly talk about American views on bodies.
Aih - what's the worst that can happen - you waste 45 minutes of your life? I've listened to DH drone on about something or other for that long. Go for it...

I love this answer! My DH is such a talker, and I've gotten so bad lately about completely tuning him out. I need to make myself start paying attention, even if it's just a little.
Papagena--I watched "Little People Big World" exactly long enough to realize that it would make me want to throat punch everything. I'm not interested in things where the most interesting thing someone has to say is "I'm normal and just like everyone else on the inside."
The father on that show (LPBW) drives me up the wall... My mom & sister watched a few of them while they were visiting. OMG - I don't mind the wife, but him....

I watched "More to Love" and it was stupid. I mean, the guy was nice, but all the girls were basically crying the whole time talking about how they've never been on a date before and this is their "once chance at love". Umm... no, it's not- have some freakin confidence in yourself and go talk to people!
It basically made all overweight (actually, average, according to the opening- it said that the average size of a reality show girl was size 2, but the average size of a woman in America is size 14) women look pathetic. I mean, I'm sure some of them are nice people, but it made them all look like whiny women with no faith in themselves. It actually made me kinda sad!

Re: Can we talk bad tv?
Is this the story about love as a 500 lb person? Really.... *gives the side eye* You're going to be watching Little People, Big World next...

But I can't bring myself to hit play.

Maybe it'll be my grading incentive tomorrow.
