Speaking of dogs...

We don't give ours "people food" unless she's really sick and eating only plain boiled chicken and white rice.

I dropped a teeny piece of broccoli (less than 1/2") and she was really good about not running for it. So I made her go through a bunch of her tricks, and then gave her the broccoli.

She ran into the living room wag wag wagging her tail with the new thing in her mouth. Dropped it on the floor and tried to play with it, and then finally decided to eat it. Dropped it. Licked it once, tried to eat it again, dropped it, rolled it around...and then decided to go eat her dinner instead. The broccoli is still sitting on the floor, and she won't walk within a one foot radius of it.

Guess she told us.

  • At least she didnt do what ours do and chew it up into tiny pieces before they decide they don't like it and spit it out all over the rug.....not a foot over on the hardwood but on the rug of course.

  • haha, hilarious!  and who said dogs would eat anything?  our dog has put herself on a carb free diet.  all those cheerios and rice ethan throws to the ground just sit there.  and of course those are a pita to clean up.
