This morning I went for my usual walk and was really dizzy and short of breath, so I turned back. I've been getting shortness of breathe more lately, but it isn't usually a big deal. Today though I felt like I had finished running when I got home. I ended up sleeping for about 2 1/2 hours (really uncommon for me) and when I woke up, I had menstrual like cramps in my low back and abdomen. I thought maybe I was dehydrated (I've had achiness before, not as intense, that seems to go away with more H2O) so I drank probably 24 oz within an hour. It continued, so I finally called the doctor and they said to increase fluids even more, take tylenol, and a warm bath and to call back - even if that meant calling the on-call doctor tonight- if it continues.
I again feel asleep for another hour after the bath. The cramping has subsided mostly for now, although I am just so tired and not quite feeling like myself. I've drank probably 4x my normal today and haven't been on my feet at all since my walk, so I'm wondering what is going on.
Anyone any experience any similar symptoms? We leave Friday for our cruise, so this is making me nervous!
