If so, what were your symptoms and how early did you notice them? I'm having pretty constant pain in left mid abdomen (not lower), went to GI doctor, he thougth I was ok...I don't know if I'm pregnant either...but just don't like this feeling- almost been 2 weeks- it isn't getting worse though.
::knock on wood::
Re: Anyone have an ectopic pregnancy?
well i'm not sure why you would be having that pain, but when i got pregnant i had a whole array of symptoms and pains and i was pretty nervous about an ectopic, too, cause i kept having pain in my side and lower back. so i had an ultrasound and everything looked good! so although i can't tell you about symptoms of an ectopic, i can tell you that pregnancy itself could cause those symptoms. my suggestion would be to take a pregnancy test, and if you are pregnant, call the doctor and let them know you've been having some pain. also, perhaps you would want to post this on the trying to conceive after a loss board.
i hope everything works out for you, and that you feel better-- and are hopefully having a healthy pregnancy!
I really hope so too. Thanks for your kind words.
I wouldn't worry until you get a BFP. No reason to worry yourself until something shows up. If it is ectopic, you'll have caught it as early as possible. Also know that when you get pg there is often implantation pain. Really, aches in pregnancy are pretty normal.
Oh, and with the ectopic pregnancies the pain is really bad when you push on your lower stomach. They'll also be able to tell from the blood test and u/s when you go into the drs.
With an ectopic, you may not even get a BFP when you'd notice. I had BFN last testing 15 DPO (all 3 signs charted so I know that date was right), and I had an EP that I didn't even think to test for until 24 DPO.
I had heavy bleeding, that started right when my period was supposed to so I thought it was that but it kept going. No pain, at all. Not a single side stitch to speak of. But I had this one-point of pressue that wasn't even enough to be called annoying or tender. If you think you may be, keep checking those tests though...and if you feel you are being ignored be adamant about it...an EP can kill you so it's not something to let them pat you on the shoulder and say you're "just" having a m/c. I'm not trying to scare you...just be aware of what's going on with your body as much as you can and if your gut tells you something's wrong, listen.
