I can't seem to find a simple table lamp for less than $50.

Any tips? lol  I'm not looking for something fancy.  I just want a simple white base with a pastel blue, yellow and/or green shade.  Jeesh.

Have you checked JCP.com? They have a lot to pick from..

Also Target or PBK outlet if you have one near you.

I got DD's lavender lamp shade from PBK outlet for $15 and a white fancy lamp base at Target for $25.

i dont know if you have one around you but old time pottery has a ton of lamps they are all about 10-15

Have you tried TJMaxx? They always have a ton of lamps at a decent price.

Thanks for the ideas!  I might have to go on a lamp mission sometime in the near future and hit up all the stores around here that could potentially carry lamps.  Surely I'll find SOMETHING.

Surprisingly Walmart.com has some adorable lamps.  We got ours there for $16.

Try any of the above.  Now is a great time to look for lamps like that because of back to school for college students.  It's a great time of year to get affordable decor in lively colors.

I got a plain white base at Christmas Tree Shop for 10 bucks. I then got an adhesive shade at JoAnns for 10.50 (with 40% off coupon) and covered it in the same fabric as the curtains.
