I just got a part time WAH job!!

The last month my stomach has been in knots about returning to work (which is probably why I've gotten mastitis 3 times in the last month!). I had always dreamed of being a SAHM, but DH got a new job, and we haven't practiced living on his salary alone... so I was going to have to go back to work full time to a job that I have to fly to Austin once a week (which ends up being a 14 hour day) and travel internationally for 2 weeks out of every quarter. On Friday, I emailed the company I used to work for and asked if they had any openings for part time work that I could do from home. That night, my old boss emailed me back and said yes! I met with her today, and I am hired!!! I am over-the-moon excited! I'll make at least half my salary, make my own hours, and work from home, still getting to take care of my little boy. I just had to share...

That's great!  I've been working from home part time (some time in the office when my mom is in town and can watch her) since Kate was 3 months old.  It has had it's challenges, but it has worked out well for us.
