FYI- My experience with falling betas after D&C

I have seen several people on here ask about how long it took your betas to go down to zero after a D&C.  I am not quite there yet, but thought I would share my experience thus far for those who are curious.

Day of procedure- 1500

1 1/2 weeks after- 600

2 1/2 weeks after- 75

So, 2 1/2 weeks later, I am still having slight brown spotting, which the nurse said can be normal until the betas fall to 0.  Also, they told me that betas rise much faster than they fall, so the falling time was normal too.  Another FYI, this past week when my betas were going from 600 to 75, I could really tell that my hormones were crashing with all of the mood swings and b*!*# outbursts.

well you got more information then i did. my doctors never took blood work to monitor my levels. but yeah, that crash in hormones... suuuucks

Thanks for sharing! It's good to see your levels falling, mine were as follows:

June 16 - 42000 (8w4d - no fetal pole or hb)
June 18 - 44000
June 20 - 45000
June 30 - D&C
July 15 - 35
July 22 - 13
Today - praying for AF to show up anyday now
