My mom is still doing well. She wound up being admitted last night because it was so late, they didn't have her bloodwork results, and she was on a lot of pain meds. She's kept down some juice, and she should be able to go home this afternoon and get her endoscopy done as an outpatient procedure.
So here's the laugh.
Last night she got in, they gave her the once-over, got her some drugs for the pain, and then had her give a urine sample so they could check for a first round of things that might be wrong.
The doctor comes back in after those tests were run and says "Mrs. Bugsmom, when was your last menstrual period?"
My mom replies "three years ago."
And the doctor says "Do you have any idea why your sample shows that you're pregnant?"
And my mom, in her drugged stupor, just laughs at him.
She's not pregnant. It was just a lucky false positive. No baby sibling for me.
Re: Good news and a laugh
That's funny!
I hope your Mom is starting to feel better and they figure out what's going on.
Glad to hear that she's going home and seems to be doing better!!! What a relief. Hope the endoscopy goes well!

That is hilarious! Did they do a second test?
I am so glad she is feeling better.
