Maybe she meant it like you look wonderful (you know because us pregnant woman are supposed to look haggard to some). I would take it as a compliment if it makes you feel better!
Unless I wear the right clothes, I still get "You just look like you are chubby in the waist now" from my mom. Don't sweat it. Now that I am in the process of "popping out", I am finding it was more comfortable to just look chubby. . . .
I really do think that some people think this is a compliment. I think maybe they heard, never say a pregnant woman is huge and so they go with the opposite. Take it in the best way possible.?
AHHH for cripes sakes, people complain when someone says you look pregnant and people complain when someone says they don't . You're KU comments come with the territory.

Ditto, and I particularly love the use of the word cripes. Yet, it will continue beyond the 0-6 board, etc. 'they said my baby is chubby' 'they said my baby is skinny'. Oh the horror!
Seriously, stop spending so much time figuring out how to be offended by every d@mn comment ladies.

Grandmas are so funny. I had a tiny bump at like 10 weeks and my husbands grandma took one look at me and said... Oh I didn't even show til five months.. ahhh .. if she was not 90 and related to my husband i would have freaked out on her
I was recently told by a family friend that I should go back and make sure I'm not having twins, because she didn't start to show until she was six months! Either way, everyones pregnancy is different, remember the compliments and forget the "insults".

Who knows. People don't have filters. Yesterday I got "You are the only person I know who looks smaller when she is pregnant than when she is not". WTF!
Re: "You don't even look pregnant..."
Yeah I'm with mooeta.
I would take it as a compliment, meaning you don't look huge.

I HATE this comment! I think the same thing, "so, you think I am normally this fat in the stomach?!!"
Maybe they think it is a compliment?
I can relate with the comment above me.

ugh I get this all the time...and seriously, its annoying. I had a girl tell me that my 23 week bump looked like her TWO WEEK BUMP. Two.week.bump.
Check my signature, that is me at 23 weeks...if that is what she looked like at 2 weeks there was a serious bloating issue at hand.
