stupid rattle

so i bought ds 2 rattles on friday at bbb.  so i soaked them in water & bleach today for a few minutes to sterlize them the first time around.  well now the ring rattle has water in where the rattle beads are.  and while i don't remember if it had water in it to begin with, i'm pretty sure it didn't b/c it doesn't make any noise w/ the water in it.  PLUS, the water drips out when u shake it.  not gonna give ds a toy w/ bleach water in it.  soooooo annoyed. now i have to take it back to bbb & that is NOT a short trip.

will they even let you return it?  I imagine after it dries out it should be fine...

btw, is that something you're supposed to do...I'm still clueless on this whole sterilizing stuff thing
