In DS room, we have a crib, dresser w/ changing area on top and hutch, glider, ottoman. The books are above the dresser in the hutch.
In DD room, we are planning on putting in a crib, changing table (small room), and the glider from DS room. Her books will go on a small shelf in the closet (and she can share with her brother).
Our nursery for # 2 is only about 10 by 10 so we are trying yo use the minimum amount of furniture. We'll have the crib, a combo dresser that has a changing table top, and a glider and ottoman. We will display some books on wall mounted shelves and the rest of them will be on the bookcase in DD's room (we already have most of the classics).

This is my plan as well
My first had a dresser, changing table, crib, built in bookshelf, and a rocker.
That is way more than what we have. We have a crib and stackable drawers/ cubes. But the nursery doubles as a den, so there is a desk and filing cabinets too. As for the changing table, we are planning on using the the play yard with the changer attached, and that will be in the living room.

We will have a crib, long dresser, glider and a bookshelf that DH is building. The bookshelf will double as the changing table. It will be the same height but longer than the standard changing table with 3 shelves and two cubbies.
Bookshelf = We just picked up a small ClosetMaid shelf from Lowes so it can also be used as a side table by the glider

Two beautiful legacies: Noah Matthew (2 yrs) and Chloe Marcella (8 mos) Day Three
We're having twins so we had to get 2 cribs which take up a ton of space in a not very big room...
Cribs
Long dresser ( Changing pad on top)
Glider & ottoman
For books- I want to go a wall mounted book bin (maybe even 2 eventually) from Land of Nod. The rest of the books will either be in a basket in the closet or tucked away near the glider and/or on a small bookshelf we have in our bonus room/playroom, we can swap out their favorites for bedtime periodically.
We did get a tall dresser too but it is in a different room and is intended for when we split them into their own rooms one day. It holds random stuff right now.
Also did a basic closet system from Lowe's to maximize storage space, it has shelves down the middle & 2 rods on one side, 1 on the other.
Ours will be (the furniture hasn't arrived yet) a crib, a twin bed (nothing fancy, just the box springs and matress on a frame.. already had it), dresser with hutch, nightstand and bookshelf (in the closet). We will put a changing pad on top of the dresser. I have a recliner out in the living room that MIGHT fit in the nursery, but we're not holding our breath, since its huge.

our nursery is pretty little, 12x12 so we didn't do a lot of furniture!
just crib, changing table (when she's older we will replace with a dresser), glider chair, bookcase, and a small nightstand/table next to the glider chair for bottle, etc.

I was thinking of doing an invisible bookshelf like this:

Possibly a Toy box (to match the dresser)
Crib = Madison crib from PBK
Dresser = Deer Run double dresser from Lea
Changing table = Pad on dresser
Glider = BRU walnut & vanilla glider & ottoman combo
Bookshelf = We just picked up a small ClosetMaid shelf from Lowes so it can also be used as a side table by the glider
