Into: High risk for my 2nd Pregnancy

Hello all!  Thought I'd introduce myself since I'll be around for the next 8 months or so!!  I am currently a little over 6 weeks with my 2nd pregnancy.  I have chronic pre-hypertension that I've been taking meds for for about 5 years.  I went to my first prenatal appointment and my Dr. put me on Aldomet......same as what I was on with my DS.  It worked for me the first time so I'm holding my head up in hopes all will go ok this time around.

    Good luck!  Aldomet only worked for me until 20 weeks.  I hope your pregnancy is completely uneventful!

    Hi, welcome. I'm high risk for my second pregnancy too. Before I was pregnant with my son 8 years ago I had cryosurgery for cervical cancer and my cervix is too damged for me to deliver. So DS was a c-section and this baby will be too.
