Sequential Screen Results- question?

Any chance you remember your results?  I was just left a message with my results and I called back for clarification, but I had to leave a message.  Both Downs and Edwards came back as 1 in over 10,000?but spina bifida and other NTDs came back as 1 in 300, which she said was normal, but it sounds low and she went on to say they would check out the baby?s spine in 2 weeks at my ultrasound, so it confused me alittle?Just looking to see if you remember yours until I get to talk to my doc?

My DS and trisomy ratio was about the same as yours. I think my NT defect ratio & spina bifida ratio was 1 in 6, 000.

I was told that they would not run further testing unless the probability came up 1 in 100.

I wasnt given an actual number. But I was told that we had a positive marker for Spina Bifida, and they called me to get into do my US early so that if there was a problem, a solution could be worked out quickly. In our case there is a genetic specialist that comes to our hospital once a month and they wanted me to see him so I didn't have to wait a month or drive to another town.

But it all came back normal after the US. I would think if they were concerned about the numbers they would call you in sooner than two weeks. I was told that once Spina Bifida is suspected they try to do something right away because the lest exposure to amniotic fluid the better.
