Parenting after a Loss

**JessMike07**

Hey there!  I didn't know you were a chiro wife!  Where did he go to school? How has your dh been through all this?  Mine, at first, didnt want me to have an epi or any drugs during labor, but he finally realized that it's my body-thankfully since I was planning on having one anyway! ;)

This whole vaccine thing has been super tough since he's completely against them and I'm completely for them.  We had agreed on doing them, but doing each one individually and spacing them out a little, but now he's re-thinking that idea.  How do you feel about their whole lifestyle?  It sometimes drives me nuts since he "lectures" me about my posture, diet and excercise routine like I'm one of his patients!  Does yours do the same???

  • Hey! Yup, I?m a chiro wife! Mike did his undergrad at West Virginia University and then went to NY chiro college. Where did your DH go to school? Does he own his own practice? What drug company do you work for?? Mike gave me a hard time about getting an epi at first but he likes giving me a hard time about anything. Ha! I know he would have rather I had a cervical block (not common) but my doc on call didn?t do them. The epi was Uh-mazing though! I knew how Mike felt about vaccines from day one, so it wasn?t a shock but I knew I had to do my own ?research? and after I did I could see where he was coming from. I?m not as firm of a believer as he is but I?m on the fence enough that I?m ok with his decisions. Here are some of my thoughts re: vaccines?. 1) Just because you are vaccinated does not mean you cannot contract that particular disease and just because you aren?t vaccinated doesn?t mean you will get a disease if exposed to it. 2) Babies immune systems aren?t fully developed until 6 months so why are we injecting these harsh chemicals into them? 3) I was shocked to learn ingredients found in vaccines. 4) Why is autoimmune disease, asthma, children RA, autism, GI problems in children, SIDS more prevalent now? Why weren?t these heard of when our parents were younger? In no way am I trying to convince you that your hubby is right or that you are wrong. I?m just simply pointing out things I?ve learned/realized. Mike also has degrees in atheletic training and exercise phys. He is a very medically based chiro. I am a physical therapist assistant so our professions are very similar. BUT yes it is annoying being reminded of my posture constantly!!
