Anyone adopted from the Philippines?

Has anyone ever adopted a child from the Philippines? My husband and I are in the very very early stages of considering adoption. My husband is Filipino and so the natural thought is to adopt from the Philippines if we ultimately choose adoption.

Check the adoption.com boards--I think there are people on there who have adopted from the Phillipines. From what I remember reading, your husband's heritage may really help!

Thanks for the information. From my research so far it does look like my husband's heritage gives us preference in adopting from the Philippines. I'll check out adoption.com.
