Absolutely done with daycare lady! So angry-shaking!
My niece (she and my nephew go to a in home daycare with my DD) is now 4 and old enough to tell about what goes on at daycare. Apparently one time this week my daycare lady packed all 3 kids into the back of her daughter's Volkswagen Jetta in order to take her 17 year old son to a friend's house. Well, apparently there was not enough room for DD's infant seat and two car seats so she put my niece (4) and nephew (2.5) in booster seats. Yesterday, she took all 4 kids (there is another little girl who goes part time) to her sons doctor appointment. Well, she put DD, my nephew and the little girl in the extended cab of her truck (in car seats) and put my niece in the front seat of her truck (in a car seat) without turning the airbag off! Aside from my safety concerns, she never even told me that she took my kid out! This is definitely the last and final straw. I am so sick to my stomach.

so not cool to take your kid places without you knowing. not cool at all.
was it your 4year old niece who told you this? just playing devil's advocate.... maybe the airbag turns off on it's own? I know in my truck, I had my niece in the front last week, and b/c she is so light, the airbag automatically shut off.... just a thought.
but, I would be fuming like you are, especially with all the other issues you've had.
I am hoping that my MIL will watch DD until we can find another daycare.

He is going to have a "discussion" with her first and see how it goes. They have more history with her (they have been with her since my niece was 5 months old) and have been pleased (mostly) until now as opposed to me who has had issues with her from the start. She will make up some bullsh!t excuse but they are also looking into other arrangements. What sucks is our kids LOVE to be around each other and it would be impossible to find a place with 3 openings.
