Adoption

Is anyone or know of anyone who is Muslim & seeking AA newborn?

I can forward you to a facilitator who is looking for families for a newborn due next month.

  • That almost describes us, but my dh isn't practicing. I wish them all the luck in the world.

  • Are you waiting for a match?  Are you doing DA?  Are you homestudy ready?

I know...its so specific and I guess BM is holding tight to this request.  I hope they find a family for them.

I figured it could not hurt to put it out there (here)

  • I always feel a ping when I see these situations. Our agency posts 'immediate situations' on their website. I've seen some situations 'sit there' for along time, especially jehovahs witness requests.

Right now they have a situation with a caucasian baby girl due oct 25. The e-father has marfan syndrome and there is a 50% chance that it will be passed onto the baby, the e-mom does not want to do a test to see for sure before birth.

  • Aw Jack's that a tough one.  Marfan....ugh, that can be tough to explain to a family, especially considering the prognosis.  sad.

Nope, just starting the homestudy tomorrow... but I'll keep my eyes & ears open for them!

This is so sad...any idea why she wouldn't?
