    Dr. G, he is just so beautiful.  I remember you posting your sister's kiddos (I think?!) a long time ago, do you remember that?!  I knew that if they were any indication of how your baby would look, then (he'd) be oh so gorgeous :)

    I'm a little ashamed to say I don't know exactly what it's about, but then again even my mom and aunt were a little fuzzy on the details. ?It's a ceremony they do in the baby's 7th month. ?The baby sits on a platform with sweets, and they put a little dot on his head (or it's supposed to be a dot, he was so wiggly he ended up with a couple of Harry Potter streaks!), say a prayer, sing a little song, and people give him gifts. ?I think it's kind of, "Yay, your baby is doing all right!"?

    He is so cute...and so big already!  I honestly cannot believe we're all over here on the "other side", with babies doing things like sitting, etc...  It's neat to see a cultural ceremony that I'm not familiar with, thanks for sharing.
