my twins are 7 months today and they say "dadadad" all day long, i know they are not associating this w/ my dh yet,but i can'y wait to hear momma. how old were your multiples when they started saying momma???
I guess it depends a lot on the baby. One of my DDs has started saying momma...well, it's more like mumma. However, she basically only says m's and b's so far. No d's yet. The other DD hasn't started with consonants yet, but she's a master squealer.

I don't have multiples yet, but my 15 month old still doesn't call me mama! He makes the sound, but not in reference to me. He has been calling DH Dad or Daddy since about 11 months. Kind of makes me sad!

DS, my singleton, started saying Dada around 10/11 months, he didn't start saying Mama until 14/15 months or so. I've heard from our PAT rep and pedi that Dada almost always come first because it's just easier to say.
be careful what you wish for! i used to ask the same question...now i regret it! all she says all day long is mommyyy....over and over and over again! only once in a while referring to me! its usually when she wants something!
but id say she started saying mama around 11-12 months...i think. mommy is just a recent thing of two-three weeks ago, so 17.5 months or so. im ready to change my name already!

My boys say a lot of words but no mama. Sometimes we go through all the words they know and they repeat them to me and when I ask them to say mama they both just laugh.

About 14 months for me. It was after dada, dog, ball, banana, cow, moo, and lots of other words.
