I need help finding a stroller that converts from infancy to possibly toddlerhood. I do not want to have to get a new stroller once my child ages. The catch is - it needs to be light weight enough to schlep up and down subway stairs (as I am sure many of you know). I also was hoping that the infant stage of use is not a compatible carrier (which inevitably adds weight).
From Consumer Reports I have read about the Zooper Waltz and the Maclaren Techno XT which do not seem to need the carrier attachment for infants.
Some help pretty please...
Re: Stroller and the City
our single stroller is a peg perego pliko p3.. I think it's light enough, easy to fold , has a handle on the side.
our double (which I love) is a Phil & ted (it can be double or single) ... not a good one for folding and going into the subway when with two kids alone.. as a single maybe, but it's heavier than my peg.
dh wants to get two cheapo umbrella strollers now that the kids are older. ??? dd doesn't ride enough IMO.
