This is probably the only place where I can vent and I know you ladies will understand. I'm really sick of hearing people with 1 baby complain and whine about how tired they are and how some days are hard and blah blah blah. I have this one girlfriend who has a 1 yr old and it's like everytime I talk to her she's telling me how hard things are with him and how she's tired and has to wake up early with him. Of course I listen and I say I know and understand but I really want to say "hellooooooooooo try having TWO babies and 2 older kids as well to take care of!" not that I'm complaining about my kids or my life or anything but I'm just sick of hearing ppl b*tch about 1 kid when I'm exhausted dealing with the twins.
Re: can I vent here for just a minute?
it's annoying but remember everything is relative. What is super hard for her might not be hard for you... and every baby is different. My 2 fairly easy twins = easier to take care of all day than one baby who is fussy/colic, etc.... it's all relative.
just be proud of yourself and all you do- knowing that chick could never handle it!
I understand where you're coming from... but I'm also wondering if your friend might have something else going on that's making things difficult? Since you have older children also, you might have felt the same way I did, that when your oldest was approaching a year old it was a pretty easy, restful period. If she's really having a hard time with it, maybe there are some other things factoring into that.
Who knows... it just struck me as odd that she seems to be having such a hard time with one 1-year-old because of my own experience at that time!
My twins are 5! My baby is 3!

That sounds pretty irritating. I give you mad props for all the hard work you do every day. With twins (or more) I guess you have to just go by the Nike slogan.....just do it. Some people don't get it and think they are entitled to things being easier. Life's not like that. You're awesome, just remember that.
