Anyone have a pediatrician to recommend who is on the alternative side? welcomes or even suggests alternative vaccine schedules, hesitant to give antibiotics, considerate of less common treatments, and understanding that the medical world/AAP may not have all of the answers quite yet? TIA
I like our pediatrician a lot but he is very traditional. And, I am thinking I am not. I am wondering if there is a better match out there - actually, I know there is, just don't know who...
Re: "crunchy" pediatrician recommendations - Dallas
We see Dr. Mehendale with Willow Bend Pediatrics. We've seen her 4x so far and love her! 972-403-9355
You can PM me if you want more info...just let me know you sent me a msg as I don't chk them.
I've heard great things about Dr. Bain in Frisco, too.
We see Dr. Cahan in Coppell. She is family practice, so all of us go to her and absolutely adore her. (Even DH, who is not crunchy at all.) She is wonderful and I highly recommend her... but if Plano is convenient to you, Coppell probably isn't
Mommy to DD1 (June 2007), DS (January 2010), DD2 (July 2012), and The Next One (EDD 3/31/2015)
Thanks.
i have heard great things about Bain too - I forgot about that.
I am in Dallas, so Coppell is do-able too.
Bieanca - we too go to PAD, but see Dreiling. I do like him and obviously he is respectful of my wishes re: vaccines, but I wouldn't say he is "fine" with it...
I appreciate everyone's suggestions
