Baby Friendly activities in San Jose

Any ideas? From the look of the websites, it doesn't seem that the library story time is good for DS because they want certain ages. Are there toddler parks so that he can at least look around? Is it worth it to take him to the museums to see things-did you take LO at that age (7 mos.)? Any suggestions in SJ would be great. Thanks!

Re: Baby Friendly activities in San Jose

  • There's a crawler room at the Children's Discovery Museum in SJ and children under 1 are free (though think it's $8 for you). A lot of the libraries offer baby story time for babies under one year - I know Sunnyvale, Los Altos, and Palo Alto libraries all do, not sure about San Jose libraries. We started doing swimming classes at that age and also still went to a new mom's group until M was 1 that we enjoyed. I think any local park with shade is nice too - before M was walking we just took a huge blanket and toys and put it in a nice shady spot. And he loved the baby swings at the park too.
