Had my measure the baby U/S today...

The doc says she is 7lbs.  No talk of induction which makes me happy.  I have been working really hard on controling my diabetes.  I don't like her answers though.

" Ohh its what we expected she is already 7lbs.. "

me: Well if my sugars are always under control and I don't eat very much.. how is she supposedly big?"

" You are a diabetic.. its what happens.." 

I always feel slighted when I go there.  I don't know why but I do.

I think 6 or 6.5 lbs is considered "normal" for 36 weeks. 7lbs does not seem like an out of control weight to me, especially since those things are rarely accurate!
