What are your thoughts? I always thought I wouldn't use one, but now that DS can sit up, I think he might like to sit in the cart. I just feel like he needs something a bit more comfy and clean.

I love the Floppy Seat. I can get it on and off with one hand. The strap is easy to put on the cart to keep DD in. It's soft so she can lay to the side comfortably. It washes well, and folds into itself for carrying. The best part is that I clip her toys to it with clicky links so they don't end up on the floor. We use it on restaurant high chairs and in shopping carts.
I hate using it because I feel like such a mom (as in: not a cool mom, a mini van mom) BUT I won't put DS in a cart without it since he likes to put his mouth on everything. ?He loves riding in the cart and being able to see everything going on around him, so I put my vanity aside. ?;)

I just got one. It's the Floppy Seat, but I got it used off Ebay since they're so expensive. I used it the other day at a restaurant, and I loved it. I didn't have to worry about cleaning it or her sucking on it. I originally got one from Target, but I returned it because I knew it wouldn't fit the big carts at Sam's Club. The Floppy Seat is very stretchy, so it fits all carts.
I use one. We forgot it the other day and had to put him in a highchair without it and I was really grossed out. Those things never get cleaned. Plus, the cover we have has shoulder straps and without it, the strap on the grocery cart wouldn't really secure him well enough.

We have the Clean shopper by Babe ease, also can be used on restaurant high chairs. I just got it a couple weeks ago at Marshalls for only 12.99 and it had a bunch of different patterns to choose from. I mainly got it b/c DD puts her mouth on the restaurant chairs and bangs her head on the sides of the shopping cart.
I have a BuggyBagg...I was one of those pregnant moms-to-be that thought I'd NEVER get a shopping cart cover. However, going to the grocery was a pain with her in the Bjorn, since I am short and can't reach a lot of things on the shelves without climbing them. Impossible with a baby strapped to my front. So I bought a cover so she could sit in the cart around 5 months. Because it's "fluffy", and she's short, too, it helped her sit up & fit better. Now, she still benefits from the extra fluff that keeps her a bit more comfortable.
