Babyproofing floor lamps ?

We have several fllor lamps with cords, and EK goes straight for them.  How do you babyproof these?  TIA.

    Are you worried about the cords or them tipping over? For the tipping over you can attach industrial strength velcro to them so they dont move (we have done with with lamps and some vases that I don't want to put away!!) and for the cords you can get tubeing to go around them so they can't put the cord in their mouth.

    We have one that we have blocked way off in a corner behind a table and all areas that lead to it are blocked off.  It is hard for us to get to so there is no way for her to get to it.
