anyone ever had AF "jump started"

at what point did you call the doctor?  When did they prescribe the medicine to force AF?

My doctor said she would do that if it didn't show up by 6 mo, so I could start BC again. I haven't called because I don't see a huge need right now. If you have a reason to want it sooner I'd call. If not - enjoy being AF free!

I just did!  I went to the doc when I did not get AF 6 weeks after weaning.  He told me I *could* have Provera if I would like.  Yes please, we would like to try again relatively soon.  Anyway, I was suppossed to take 10 pills, 1 a day for 10 days.  On day 8, I started spotting, day 9 I was getting a full on AF.  It hasnt been as bad as people warned me, not a single bit of cramping or anything.  Anyway, I probably didnt really need the Provera, but I was anxious and my doc said it is so super safe, so I went with it.  Good luck!

I was prescribed Provera the summer before I got pregnant. I was on CD 80 or something crazy like that without seeing AF. It got me right on track and I got my BFP two months later.
