pro-life protestors

There is a Planned Parenthood about 5 minutes from our house and there are often pro-life protesters out and around the building picketing. On my way to Dominicks this weekend, which is right next to the Planned Paretnhood, there was a sign that said "Warning-graphic abortion photos ahead." About a block after the sign with no where to go but ahead, there were disturbing abortion pictures.

I have no problem with them picketing and fighting for what they believe in BUT I have a major problem with graphic pictures all along the side of the road (many being held by children) for everyone to see whether they want to or not.

i am sorry but LOL at the "warning" sign??? how are you supposed to avoid them? cover your eyes while driving? what IDIOTS!

Well, remember, choice isn't important to them. Not only do you have no choices in what you do with your uterus, apparently your brain and eyes aren't yours to make decisions about either.

I really think that there should be some sort of law against those types of pictures.  I use to work by an abortion clinic and had to see them like everyday.  I find them to be very disturbing. Almost worse than the video that pro life groups like to show.

This is coming from someone who consider themselves pro life.

they used to come to my college campus with those stupid picket signs and plant themselves at major buildings' entrances.  it is disgusting, and IMO, a horrible way to get a point across.

Don't have to imagine it. Been there. Thrown up on the side of the road when I saw one of the billboards.

They have a huge sign in my hometown that says how many abortions were performed last year in that town. ?DH & I both thought that statement alone was taking it too far. ?

ITA, but I also feel the same way about all of the billboards all over the place with sexual content all over them - except those are considered acceptable by a majority of people so there aren't even warnings.

If you equate sexual content of any kind with this bestial behavior, you need serious therapy and high doses of halcion.

I cannot for the life of me imagine why I would want to know this information. Plus it isn't relevant to anything!!!!

I do compare them - both are disturbing.  Not equally disturbing, but disturbing nonetheless.
