For those who did DNA test...

We just sent in our DNA test after swabbing the girls' cheeks for their DNA to determine if they're identical or fraternal.  But, one baby had just nursed maybe 30 minutes before we did the test.  Does this affect the results?  Did anyone else have this issue?  My baby brain is completely useless right now, so this could be a really stupid question :)  TIA

  • I have no idea but that pic of your girls is precious!

  • I don't think it would affect the results.  The first time I attempted the cheek swab I did it right after they ate so they were in a good mood.  Well that backfired and one threw up all over his test so I had to call and have another one sent to me.  Just think of what little DNA is really needed to get someones DNA now and I think it will be just fine.
