first bloody injury :(

in Babies: 9 - 12 Months

DS learned to pull himself up a few days ago.  Today, while hanging on to a coffee table, he lost his balance and banged his mouth on the edge of the table, busting his lip and gum.  Poor guy!

    Oh dear.  Sorry....waiting for that moment too.  We had our  first bruise a few weeks back.  Did you take it worse than he did?

    It just made my stomach drop when I saw the blood.  He cried harder than he ever has, though, so I am sure it hurt/scared him pretty badly.

    I know the feeling.  DS did a face plant into the hardwood floor a couple days ago and had a bloody nose.  My stomach just dropped when I saw him pick his head up and he was crying so hard.  I sure just the first of many to come.

    we had a similar situation happen a few days ago.  DS was pretend driving in DH's truck, and literally slammed his mouth onto the steering wheel and got a bloody lip.  poor little guys!
