XP: Anyone use Karo Syrup for constipation?

I just called the pedi and they recommended using this. What was your experience with it? TIA.

My son has chronic consitpation and when things get really bad we use the Karo trick.  It usually works for us within an hour.

yes. sometimes it worked. and sometimes it did not.

I use prune juice (2-3 oz) in a bottle.  Works fantastic.  Pedi suggested karo at first and it worked the first time, not the second time (she was much younger than you LO, around 3-4 months old at the time).  Prune juice works much faster.
